Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This policy explains how CODE418 processes your personal data when you use this website, in line with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018). We process the minimum necessary, transparently, and you stay in control.
1. Who is the controller
CODE418 is the controller of the data processed on this site. For anything related to privacy or to exercising your rights, contact us at contato@code418.com.br.
2. What data we collect
We only collect what you provide or authorize:
- Email: when you subscribe to the newsletter (Intel Brief) or request a free e-book.
- Analytics data: anonymous usage metrics, collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Contact content: the information you send when reaching out by email or WhatsApp.
3. How we use your data
- Deliver the requested e-books and newsletter communications.
- Respond to your messages and requests.
- Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, to improve it.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (art. 7, I, of the LGPD), given when you tick the consent boxes and authorize analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) only after you accept them in the consent banner. The default is not to track: nothing loads until you accept, and you can decline. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser.
6. Sharing with third parties
To run the newsletter, deliver e-books and analyze usage, we rely on providers (processors) that handle data on our behalf — for example, an email marketing platform and an analytics service. These providers may only use the data per our instructions. We do not sell your data.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you wish to receive our communications. When you unsubscribe or request removal, we delete your data from our lists, subject to applicable legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you may at any time:
- Confirm the existence of processing and access your data.
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
- Request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent and request deletion of data processed on that basis.
- Obtain information about whom we share your data with.
9. How to exercise your rights
Just email contato@code418.com.br. We will reply as soon as possible. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, you can also use the unsubscribe link in every message.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version.
